Trang Tran is a trial lawyer that constantly works on honing his skills and improving his craft. Trang has been practicing labor and employment law for over 20 years. Mr. Tran’s practice involves all aspects of employment litigation and counseling. He has arbitrated, litigated in federal and state courts, with a focus on prosecuting claims for overtime pay and unpaid wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act and numerous state statute. He also has significant experience prosecuting wage and hour class actions. Mr. Tran regularly speaks at lawyers conference and continuing education courses on various aspects of employment law and overtime lawsuits.
Trang Tran practices almost exclusively in in wage-and-hour law. This includes trial and arbitration in in cases arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Pay Act, and state laws. Mr. Tran was been recognized as Texas Super Lawyers’ top “Employment Lawyer” list several years in a row. Super Lawyers, the well-established lawyer rating service from Thomson Reuters. Mr. Tran has served as the president of the Houston Employment Lawyers Association. In addition, Mr. Tran has been a member of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Employment Lawyers Association, and the National Employment Lawyers Association. Mr. Tran regularly shares his knowledge through presentations at local, state and national bar organizations.
Mr. Tran lives in Houston Texas, with his wife and their children. When not aggressively advocating for a client in court, managing the growing law practice or helping raise three children, Mr. Tran enjoys martial arts, running and weightlifting.
